I’m so excited to introduce myself as the proud inaugural principal of Fagert Elementary! Opening a brand-new school is an incredible journey, and I’m honored to work alongside you to create something truly special for our students, staff, and community. A little about me: I was born and raised right here in Fort Bend County! I’m a graduate of The University of Texas, a Teach For America alum, and later earned my master’s degree from the University of Houston. I’m also a proud mom of two amazing kids—one just starting college and one just starting high school—and we have a fun-loving boxer named Ace who keeps us all on our toes! I’m passionate about educating the whole child—making sure every student feels safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Building positive relationships with our students, families, and staff is truly at the heart of everything I do. I also believe that open communication is key. When we work together, we can create the very best experience for our kids. Our goal at Fagert Elementary is to make sure every student belongs and thrives in a safe, positive, and engaging environment. I can’t wait to build strong connections with all of you as we lay the foundation for an amazing school community. I’m so excited for the journey ahead—and even more excited to meet you and your children soon!

My name is Will Jones, and I am beyond excited to join Fagert Elementary as your Assistant Principal! I’ve heard such wonderful things about the students, staff, and community here, and I am grateful to be a part of this amazing team. I started my journey in education teaching high school before serving as an elementary school counselor, and I’m passionate about supporting students’ growth, academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in creating inclusive, high-achieveing learning environments and working closely with teachers, families, and the community to ensure every student thrives. Outside of school, I enjoy good food, music, dancing and a little friendly competition. I believe learning and life should always have room for joy and laughter. I look forward to getting to know you all and a fantastic year of learning together!
