I’m so excited to introduce myself as the proud inaugural principal of Fagert Elementary! Opening a brand-new school is an incredible journey, and I’m honored to work alongside you to create something truly special for our students, staff, and community. A little about me: I was born and raised right here in Fort Bend County! I’m a graduate of The University of Texas, a Teach For America alum, and later earned my master’s degree from the University of Houston. I’m also a proud mom of two amazing kids—one just starting college and one just starting high school—and we have a fun-loving boxer named Ace who keeps us all on our toes! I’m passionate about educating the whole child—making sure every student feels safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Building positive relationships with our students, families, and staff is truly at the heart of everything I do. I also believe that open communication is key. When we work together, we can create the very best experience for our kids. Our goal at Fagert Elementary is to make sure every student belongs and thrives in a safe, positive, and engaging environment. I can’t wait to build strong connections with all of you as we lay the foundation for an amazing school community. I’m so excited for the journey ahead—and even more excited to meet you and your children soon!

Lisa Contreras
Assistant Principal

My name is Lisa Contreras, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Fagert Elementary. As someone who was born and raised in Fort Bend County and attended Lamar Consolidated ISD as a student, returning to serve this incredible community is a true homecoming for me. With over 17 years of experience in education, this year marks my seventh year as a campus administrator. My journey has taken me across the country, from leading as a Principal in Oakland Unified School District to guiding educators as a Coordinator for Teacher Development in Fort Bend ISD. These diverse experiences have shaped my passion for creating supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where all students can succeed. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Ms. Jordan once again. Having previously led a campus together, I have witnessed her dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence in education. Partnering with her in the journey of opening Fagert Elementary is an incredible honor, and I am confident that, together, we will create a welcoming, thriving school community. At the core of my educational philosophy is the belief that learning begins with connection. Every child deserves a school where they feel safe, seen, and celebrated for who they are. I am committed to partnering with our talented teachers, engaging with families, and ensuring that Fagert Elementary is a place where every student can grow, explore, and reach their full potential. I am excited to join this incredible Fox community and look forward to connecting with each of you.
