In the case of an absence, parent or guardian may send a written excuse letter on the day their student returns. The letter should include the current date, the date(s) of absences, and the reason the child was absent. If the child is absent three days or more due to illness, a doctor’s excuse note is required. We will not excuse absence due to family trips or vacations. Truancy documentation can be filed after ten unexcused absences.

Students are considered tardy if they arrive after 7:45 a.m. If your child arrives late, a parent or guardian must accompany them to the front office to sign them in before they proceed to class. Late arrivals not only impact your child's learning but can also disrupt the classroom environment for others. Please note that frequent tardies or early checkouts may result in truancy concerns and could prompt a review of your family's residency status.
All transportation changes must be submitted to the front office no later than 2:15 p.m. Changes can be made by calling the front office at (832) 223-7700 or by sending a written note with your child.
Please note: Transportation changes cannot be accepted via email.
